Workshops & Mentoring

Pilates for the Pen Next session: 16 FEBRUARY 2021 online

Guided writing workshops to relax your mind and sharpen your creativity.

Would you love an immersive hour of writing in the company of others? No anxiety, no interruptions, just a calm, focused space in which your imagination can stretch and strengthen?

Welcome to Pilates for the Pen.

Led by author & storyteller Cat Weatherill, you will follow a series of exercises designed to release your creativity and sharpen your concentration. It is a self-reflective writing journey, exploring images and the mysterious power of symbols.

Who is it for?

The workshop is easy to follow and suitable for every level of writing. There is absolutely no requirement to share anything you write. Cat will leave time for people to share things if they wish, but it really is optional. Age: Designed for adults but keen teen writers will love it too πŸ™‚

Will I need anything?

A journal, notebook or pad of paper, plus a pen. A quiet space. I always have a mug of tea beside me, but that’s not compulsory!

How will I feel afterwards?

Calm, energised and ready to face the world! Previous participants have been surprised at how free their mind felt afterwards. The exercises often bring memories floating to the surface. These can be very pleasant and inspirational.
