Workshops & Mentoring

I am available for one-to-one mentoring (please scroll down)

I also run CAT’S COTTAGE – a chance for you to join me in my four hundred year old cottage for a day of gentle confidence-building and creativity.

The next date is Saturday 19 March 19 (booking link below)

Here’s the blurb…

If you feel you have lost your way, have no stories to tell or simply don’t know where to begin, this is the day for you. Cat, the founder of Pilates for the Pen, will lead you through a series of reflective writing exercises that will spark your imagination, bring fresh insights and raise your self-esteem.

The cottage is so small, there’s only room for three students, so it is very relaxed and friendly. There will be tea and cake, a homemade lunch and a stroll around the delightful market town of Alcester. You do not need to have writing experience, simply a desire to express yourself.

Deeply satisfying, fun but focussed, the workshop will especially benefit anyone who is finding it difficult to settle to writing at the moment. Cat is a highly experienced trainer who likes to create a safe, supportive space where people can laugh and learn together. She is extremely good at showing how ideas can be generated. You will go home with endless possible storylines, guaranteed πŸ™‚

Who is it for?

Suitable for every level of writing.

Will I need anything?

A journal, notebook or pad of paper, plus a pen. Or a laptop.

Participant review

‘I had a great day in Cat’s writing workshop, and did some thought-provoking exercises. She’s a mesmerising storyteller, and I hope I was able to absorb some useful tips for drawing people into a story instead of simply recounting an event. Lovely cottage venue, atmospheric and cosy, and some great conversation!’
